He can file a complaint to establish paternity and seek custody of the child. Before he does you should open a case with child support services and let them file the complaint and seek support and medical insurance/expenses. Once the child is born you need to co-operate by letting him visit the child. If you are nursing a couple of hours may be all that he gets at first. Expect him to have the child overnight as soon as he can demonstrate that he can care for the child. If you follow the courts orders and appear to be sharing the child you can usually keep his time share to around 20%. If you have reason to fear that he could show you to be unfit you might want to get an attorney rather than using the child support agency. There are free and low fee referral programs. email me directly if your question has not been answered and I'll try to elaborate.
