There is no law requiring that child have his or her own bedroom or bed. That being said, it is within the judge's discretion to determine whether or not it is in the child's best interests for him or her to have his own bed and/or bedroom. Judges tend to be fairly lenient when it's a same sex child and parent sharing a bed when the child is relatively young. As children age and mature though, the Court typically likes the children to have their own personal space.

It depends on the circumstances of why they are under your care. The standards are different for your own child than say a foster child or ward.
