It depends on the terms of the will and the type of ownership interest each sibling has in the property. I strongly recommend that you hire a District of Columbia attorney to review the will and the deed vesting title in the 2 siblings. At that point, your attorney will be able to discuss your rights, obligations, and options with you.

It should not take an attorney more than a few hours to review your documents and have the discussion with you. If you would like assistance, I please feel free to email me.

Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.******
