Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I am a part-time employee and I was told that if I did not have direct deposit I would not get paid. Is this legal ?

They cannot make you participate in direct deposit or refuse to pay you. If they refuse to pay you for hours worked, that is a violation of state and federal laws, regardless of your lack of participation in a direct deposit program.
