Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
If I fire my current attorney, and go to mitigation on my own to settle the case would they be entitle to any settlement funds.

If the case is contingency, your attorney is entitled to quantum meruit, the reasonable value of the services provided. It is a complete facts and circumstances test.
