Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

my husband and I have signed an agreement on the sale of our condo. He is in very precarious health. The passing the papers is Jan. 31, 2012. The condo is in both of our names. If he should pass on can the sale still take place? The condo is in both of our names.
