Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

What can I do? Attorney gave me copy of settlement brochure on January 29,2011. I refused amount because I felt it was too small due to head injury not addressed. Attorney then submitted new request and they offered 6,000.00 more. I agreed to this amount based on the information given to me in the settlement agreement that I had received on January 29. Check was received and cashed and parties paid. Attorney then calls me in an shows me the pay out information which had a 5,000.00 hospital bill added to it. This was not information I had at the time I agreed to the settlement. What can I do?

The problem is that the amount is too small to warrant hiring an attorney to pursue the matter for you. Your recourse is against the attorney and either he or she will do right by you, or you will have to file a case.
