Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in India

Writ Appeal filed by Advocate L.Chandrakumar during Dec.2006 to Jan 2007

I would like to know the writ appeal no. and date of notice served to the following respondents.

1. PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore-4

2. Director of Technical Education

Chennai25.

I would like to know when this will be listed for arguments.

Also i would lke to know how to use the internet facilities to see the latest position of my W.A. and the details of judgements.

Since i am suffering heavily without any salary from any source ; i will be very happy that this case may be finalised at the earliest.

This is my personal and highly confidential question. Need not be disclosed to my advocate ; since he may get angry if he knows; probably he would let me know later. But i am very in a difficult position. So used this website .

See,I am New Delhi based and here,there is no concept of Writ Appeal.This concept is prevalent in South India.For this,you will have to disclose that in which High Court the case is pending.

Hi

This process is easy and you have to log on to the courtnic.nic.in and then click link case status and consequently click link of concerned high court if it is available on the web. Otherwise you can get telephone number of Office of Registrar of concerned High Court and may inquire about your case. But it would be better if you directly get into contact with learned Advocate who has filed your writ appeal against order of single bench and if you are not able to pay his fee then you can contact legal aid committee of the concerned high court or you can defend your case in person.

it is not good to give opinion when it is already being dealt by an able advocate. you have not given the W.A.No. - so it is not easy to find the case but thru judic.in- http://courtnic.nic.in/chennai/advoqry.asp - the search can also be in parties name .. i think that in the same website it would be of more use to you! may be your appeal was filed in 2007 only after the new regime.. probably it may take a year to reach the final stage! it is a wild guess! the hearing is decided on the priority listed year wise! it will take some time to reach the list and hearing
