My wife and I are co guardiens of my sons cd that was a product of a lawsuit won because of a accident that caused my wife to go into premature labor.The three of us agree that we need to cash it in to pay bills.the bank said that this would be ok.could we get in trouble and if so what kind of trouble

If you are guardians under a court-ordered guardianship, then the court must approve use of the money.
