Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Indiana Parenting Guidelines

I am recently divorced. I informed my ex-wife that I am getting a roommate. She stated that the Indiana Parenting Guidelines prohibits me to have a roommate of the same or different sex. Is there such a law/guideline?

You can find the Parenting Time Guidelines online here: http://www.in.gov/judiciary/rules/parenting/index.html

I am surprised that your divorce attorney did not give you a copy of these guidelines.

Nothing in them says that you cannot have a roommate but that also does not mean that the ex cannot take you back into court because of the roommate. That has nothing to do with guidelines but with the facts of the case. If you did not have an attorney, you need to get one.
