birth certificates

although my husband now is the father of my child we were not married when she was born and we were separated at the time of the birth. how do i get his name on her birth certificate and her to carry his last name?

Contact a lawyer about having your husband sign an "Act of Acknowledgement of Paternity" and then filing for the birth certificate change.
