First off, I'm sorry that you all have had to go through so much with your husband's injury. I would need to get more information in order to properly evaluate your claims. Workers compensation can be an "exclusive remedy" in some respects when it comes to recovering from an employer. However, this does not mean that your husband does not have any other sources of recovery available or that other claims might be available. For the injuries you described, $15,000 seems extremely low. I would strongly recommend that you consult with an experienced personal injury attorney as soon as you possibly can. I help a lot of people like yourselves collect from both workers compensation and from other sources. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

I'm sorry to hear about your husband's injuries. I would need to get more facts from you in order to properly evaluate your claim. Workers compensation can be an "exclusive remedy" when it comes to collecting damages from an employer arising from a work-place accident. However, this does not mean that the workers compensation proceeds are the only proceeds available to your husband. There may be additional claims and sources of recovery. I recommend that you seek the help of a personal injury attorney. Please let me know if I can be of assistance to you.
