Re: How to Notify Court

You need to file an application for an order to show cause why the Defendant should not be found in contempt. Some judges do not feel that the Joint Preliminary Injunction is a court order because it is not signed by a judge, thus, there is no contempt because there is no court order.

They probably have the forms at the self help center at family court. If you would like me to review prior to the filing, I would charge $50 to $100, depending on how detailed it is.
