Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

I have been sopenaed by the DA to testify in an appeal hearing for a child abuse substantiation case. What shoud I expect, how should I prepare for it?... I am the parent of the child who was abused but was not the abuser.

So long as there is no alternate theory by which you could be charged, under the facts that you will recite, you can just go to court and tell what you remember and what you know. If it is otherwise, you should consult with an attorney before you go to court.
