Legal Question in Insurance Law in New Jersey

Auto Accident

I was waiting for the car in front of me to move, when car moved I started to move. A van from the right side cut in front of me and swiped my front passenger bumper. He damaged the back side of his van by the tire. He wasn't going to stop and we had to follow him to his employer. Who would be at fault.

Re: Auto Accident

If you were travelling straight, in your lane of travel and at a reasonable speed for that road and the conditions of the roadway, and another vehicle changes lanes and collides with you, then it is very, very likely that the other driver will be found to be at fault.

I would have to ask a bunch more questions to determine fault. You definitely may have a case. Feel free to call our offices or e-mail me directly.
