Re: work injury

first, you have a worker's compensation claim that you can file that will give you temporary pay, medical benefits, and a permanency award.

second, you may have a wrongful termination claim. please call my partner, Kevin Costello, at 888-777-0455 to discuss this.

Re: work injury

If you are injured at work, and are out for 7 consecutive days (including weekends) then you are entitled to receive temporary disability benefits from the workers compensation insurance company. I suggest that you receive your authorized treatment, temporary disability payments, and then when you are able to return to work (released by the workers compensation doctor), you report to work ready to work. If your employer terminates you, find out why. If it is not a valid reason you may have a claim. Or you may be entitled to unemployment benefits (if he has no work for you and lays you off).

Good Luck.

My office handles workers compensation claims. There is no consultation fee and the case is taken on a contingency basis. We have offices in Harrison and Newark, New Jersey.
