Re: expire resident card

You must renew your resident card by filing Form I-90. You can file both your naturalization and green card renewal concurrently.

You should consult with an immigration attorney prior to filing any paperwork with USCIS.

Re: expire resident card

Due to the fact that your card has expired, you have a serious issue.

Your card is your ID and not having a valid ID will cause you problems.

This is why it has a date on it. The date listed is the date on which you must go back to the immigration services for them to update your information.

You cannot work without a valid ID ,and if your card has expired it is NOT a valid ID.

When you apply for your citizenship you will also have a big problem in explaining why you have been walking around without a valid updated green card.
