Re: Auto

Assuming you were not at fault, you should ask for a lot, especially if the back surgery is related to the accident. The big issue is how much insurance the other car has and if its not much how much underinsurance do you have. We handle lots of car accident cases (on contingency) so please feel free to contact me if you need representation.

Re: Auto

I am sorry to hear about your difficult situation. The amount of recovery will depend of the policy limits of the driver/owner at fault, your underinsured policy and if the defendant(s)have assets in addition to the policy limits,it may be possible to go after the individual assets of the party at fault.

You can also ask for the following damages:

loss of income

loss of earning capacity

hospital, medical, and related

expenses

disfigurement or scarring

loss of range of motion and/or

strength

permanent disability

inconvenience

loss of enjoyment of life

losses experienced by your loved ones

as a result of your accident

mileage and travel expenses, etc.

If you do not have an attorney, you should retain one asap. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me for a free no-obligation consultation.

Re: Auto

This sounds like a very serious accident and it is very important that you retain an attorney to represent your interests so that you can recover for all of your damages, including pain and suffering, loss of income, medical expenses (past and future), and out of pocket expenses, as well as the possibility of your wife recovering as well for loss of services. We are a litigation firm and can help guide you through this process. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience to discuss this further and explore all of your options.
