Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Child Custody visitation

If I give my son's father 24 hours notice of where he is to pick my son up for visitation time is that sufficient? He says that I'm in violation of the custody agreement if I tell him to pick our son up anywhere but at my home. I tried to give him 72 hours notice of the location to pick up my son and he said he didn't agreet to that and that he would take me to court if I didn't do what he said.

Re: Child Custody visitation

Since the decree does not state where the children must be dropped off and picked up you must rely on common sense. In other words be reasonable as to where the kids will be picked up and dropped off. If you can not agree then the Court will decide for you and the Court will probably scold you for arguing about such petty items and tell both of you to be reasonable or they have the option of removing the children if both parents environment are considered harmful.
