Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Philippines

I am pissed with my board mates.. i just posted a note on the bathroom because sometimes or most of the time, i can see fecal substances and it really annoys me, that's why i posted a note on the bathroom saying that they should flush their matters and everything because they are not the only one who are using the said bathroom and i just added some sort of terms like "i am pissed" and "chastity or sin". The problem is that, one of my board mates crumpled the note and investigated who is the one liable for that note and then they conclude that that was I. i am really insulted because they crumpled it, posted it on the wall on the receiving area, they put my name on it, and adds some insulting words. it really hurts me because all of the people in that boarding house saw it. i didn't know because i do believe that i have no fault. when i am around, they are insulting me indirectly because they are chatting about me with what i have done. it's not a big deal but i can't defend myself much because i'm just one. one thing is they are very noisy. it is a nuisance on my part. even in late midnight, they are still chatting and talking and laughing which causes a terrible disturbance on my senses. that pissed me a lot. I don't want to be oppressed, what shall i do?

I suggest that you transfer another boarding house. You have no control on their unruly behavior. If you want to sue them you can file a complaint before the barangay having jurisdiction on the matter. Or if the statements stated in the paper posted in the receiving area is libelous then you can sue them for libel or for oral defamation in case they have been telling words causing dishonor or discredit of your person.But you have to identify the persons responsible.
