Legal Question in Workers Comp in Tennessee

medical impairment

I have received a letter from the insurance co. making me an offer for settlement for my claim. I'm not sure if this is the rating that the Dr. gave. I feel that the offer is too low, and after talking with others I'm almost sure of it. What can I do to find out if this is right or not.

Re: medical impairment

The insurance company will NEVER offer you the true value of your claim. There are many ways to increase your recovery up to six times the amount of the doctors impairment rating. Do not sell yourself short....you should talk with an attorney...he (or she) can get you far more for your case than you can by yourself.

There is a rather complicated formula that is used to calculate the amount of compensation you are entitled to.....and then the judge can add more for you.....seek legal advice before you even consider setteling your case....
