Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

For a document to be a legally binding contract, does it need to be created and/or signed by an attorney? For example, I need to have a document that will stand up in divorce court that if my spouse violates a set of conditions, that one of us will voluntarily leave the marriage. I want to minimize cost, so I was wondering what my options are. Kind regards.

There's no legal requirement that an attorney be involved at all.

As for the document you're describing - you should talk to an attorney about what is and isn't possible to accomplish with such a document.
