Legal Question in Medical Leave in Texas

FMLA & Termination

I had a heart attack at work - Im an office manager. My employer is less than 50 employees. A week after they discovered that I had stolen from the company, and they terminated me. Is this legal? I know what I did was wrong but arn't I entitled to FMLA and workers comp?

YOU STOLE FROM THE COMPANY.

There's not an anti-discrimination law in the nation that would protect your job in this situation. You're lucky they haven't pressed criminal charges.
