Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

i have an attory who has had my case sence 01-01-2003 for an wreck that wasn't my fault: the lawyer has said the final offer the insurance co. is $11,000.00 of whick $6,800.00 for thre medical, there cut would be roughy $3,700.00 which leaves me bascily $500.00 an with out a car now... sence its been 5 months an still nothing to help me out to cover my lost time an wedages an the fact im still car-less: now percentage/recovery contract is what il call it... what way out do i have if theres not more monies recoverd except for the $500.00 can i refuse it an find another attorny? an if i do that what ground could i possibly be sued? or can i tell the schister lawyer to go an gime himself a good ''F''ing or am i stuck like chuck...

It is unfortunate but understandable that you are upset with your attorney. It sounds like you too need to communicate more. Your attorney has a duty to bring all offers of settlement to you and it is your decision whether to take the offer or not. Having said that, I would think there are still other options prior to trial, you can discuss with your attorney your needs and how close they can be med by the opposing side.
