Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

we are currently renting a houlse under a Texas Association of Realtors lease that will be up on April 30th. We just found out last week the house has gone into forclosure and we have to be out per the landlord on March 5th. What rights do we have since we are in a lease?

you probably have the right to stay until April 30..but it requires research to be sure..You could wait until you get a 3 day notice of eviction, then if u don't move, the owner/landlord has to go to Justice of Peace Court to get eviction..takes at least two weeks and then you have 10 days to move..perhaps you could negotiate staying with lender who has foreclosed???..if u want to stay it is cheaper to call/wait then to move IMHO..eventually lender owner would be able to take over house
