dad moved to another state
hi...my question is my sons dad move to another state he had temparary visitation with my son when he moved he just told me he was moving and that was it..wasn't he suppost file that he was moving to another state?..the only thing i know is that he notified child support and that was it...my question is can i file for full custudy of my son sence he moved like 8 months ago and we dont have a visitation plan now that he lives in another state?...i also have another question sence he moved to another state how many times a month do i have to be calling him because he he wants me to be calling him every week so he can talk to my son and my son is only three what should i do about this?..

A the non-residential parent may move without giving prior notice to the primary residential parent. I am not sure what kind of order you have in this case, but if it is a temporary parenting plan/residential schedule, it is still effective until a new order is entered or the action terminates. You may want to move for a modification based on his moving. As to your calling him and how often for him to talk with the child, that should be addressed in the parenting plan/residential schedule.
