My father was in the midst of a lawsuit before he suddenly passed away. Can we as a family take over that suit?

Re: death during a lawsuit

I hope that your father had an attorney, but nevertheless, generally speaking, your father's estate can still press on with the suit. I would need to know more details to give you a more detailed answer, but if your father had an attorney, that person ought to be able to help you out.

If he never had an attorney, then you ought to consult one in your area.
