Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

My boyfriend and I are in quite a pickle. We had a very heated argument on Valentines Day, the police were called and he was arrested and is now facing some serious charges for domestic violence etc.

I have retracted my police statement and have submitted a new one, I have proof that I was not of a sound mind when I presented the first statement I have been diagnosed with some serious behavioral disorders. I have sought help for those, I'm on medication and counseling but the DA still wants to prosecute, I feel so guilty for what happened, and my boyfriend was only trying to get me some help

There's not much you can do beyond pleading with the DA, and then hiring a good defense attorney.
