Legal Question in Family Law in India
I am not living with my husband. In fact my husband is not taking me to his home. He wants my parental property (2 bhk flat) and demanded Rs. 1 lakh. I have a 7 months old baby and from the time of my delivery I am staying at my parental home. As my husband was not affording the expenditure, I had to join a private job after 4 months of delivering my baby. Now he is living in his parental house and not affording our (me & my baby) expenses. There is no one in my family to fight with my husband and his family. Moreover, if I forcefully enter in my husband�s house, my child will be unsafe when I go to my job. I can bring up my child all of my own. Can I legally give my maiden surname to my child?
