i am anil i have put sec 9 case from kurnool ap and my wife she resides in another state chattisgarh and she follwed with a mc case now that i have been at chattisgarh court for counselleing regarding mc case we both have agreed for a divorce at counsellor we have a child of 3 years and for the compensation my wife is seeking 10 lakhs as alimony but being in difficult times. sir does seeking divorce byme have any impact on negotiations for alimony
i would like to suggest mesome ideas on how to proceed ahead

You should frankly tell the counselor as to how much you can pay.There is no pressure upon you. If she does not agree on that amount, the mediation will fail and case will run on merit.

In case you file for divorce you have to pay more money its better to settle the matter out of court and go for divorce by mutual consent.
