Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

Does subsequent Louisiana Order negate Alabama Order?

Divorced in 1980 in Alabama. In early 1980's action brought by ex-wife to increase child support. Louisiana Judge reduced. September 2002 notified taking action because Louisiana order did not negate Alabama order. Kids are now 22, 27 & 29. Is this true?

If Louisiana had jurisdiction over the issue of child support at the time of the order, the Louisiana order stands. Contact a lawyer ASAP.
