Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

Auto Accident

I was Involved in an car accident July 27th 2007, in Salt Lake City, UT sustained neck injury (whiplash) and lower pain pain still, have not gotten a scan on my lower back yet because i have been pregnant. Found out about 2 weeks ago i miscarried i was 14 weeks but my doctor was not sure when it happened? But the whole pregnancy i was stressed out and in constant pain between neck/back and was unable to take anything because i was pregnant. My MRI on my neck turned out fine just turned out to be whiplash. Wondering what I'm entitled for compensation?and how how much should i settle with in rough ball park range? I know I'm entitled to Pain and suffering, loss of wages, my medical bills, emotional distress from my pregnancy and the accident. I don't have a lawyer just wanting some advice?

Re: Auto Accident

Were I to evaluate your case value, I would want to have this information:

1. Review a copy of all bills and charts from all medical providers.

2. Review the police report and any witness statements, to know exactly how the accident happened.

3. Know who the insurance company is.

4. Interview you thoroughly.

5. Review wage loss information.

6. Consider all damages.

7. Possibly get a narrative report from your doctors.

You are not medically stationary yet, so your case is not ready for settlement. The pregnancy issue is complicated. Does a physician say the miscarriage was caused by the accident?

You need an attorney to represent you in this case. I do not feel that you should attempt this on your own, owing to the complicated medical issues. You are welcome to speak with us in a free, no obligation consultation at 480.835.1500. In thirty years of experience I have seen many similar cases, but need more facts to advise you.

Best regards,

James D. Jenkins
