Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Expectation of privacy on the street or front yard?

I am taking pictures of problem neighbors (teens as well) who have been dealing drugs, and robbing homes in my neighborhood. Do they have a right to privacy on the street? Can I distribute the pictures to my friends so they are aware of what to look for?

You may be able to take such pictures, but you'd better be careful and aware of the privacy and defamation laws regarding use of them. Consult with local counsel to get actual legal advice about your 'rights' and the risks you take.
