Re: self renewing contracts california The alarm company said you are now in a contract for another three years after you tried to cancel, but not within 30 days of the termination of your previous 3 year contract?
If that is so, no, that cannot be right. Alarm companies frequently have abusive business practices and this would be one also.
However, if they only said you now have to pay one more month, then that is probably allowable.
