Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I am a California Employer....here is my question...I need for an employee to go to a meeting off property, he chooses to use his own car to get there instead of the one offered to him..he gets in an accident, who is responsible for damages the employee or the employer?

Possibly both. That's why employers must make sure there is proper insurance coverage by the employee and the company when employees drive for work.
