Legal Question in Employment Law in California

My employer had me sign a peraonal action form stating I was getting paid X amountbof dollars and that I received a pay raise as well when in reality they were paying me a whole dollar less the whole year and I never got a raise. Do they owe me all the back pay?

IF you are saying you have written evidence from the company [such as paycheck stubs or withholding documents] showing you were actually receiving a specific hourly rate, and also have written confirmation from the company showing they claim you were receiving a dollar more than that, then Yes, you could go file a claim for unpaid compensation with the Labor Commissioner and see if they will pursue your claim.

Seems quite odd the company would provide you something that would prove you were shorted on pay. I could understand if you were pressured to sign something saying you were paid in full at a rate lower than owed.
