It has come to company A attention that company information and data has been misappropriated from the company contrary to employee agreements. We are continuing with a forensic investigation of the data you and other employees were privy to at this time. If you have any information or data from company A which is in your possession or was in your possession, we demand that it be returned immediately, no later than Wednesday, March 13, 2013 to our office and that you meet with our office and our forensic expert to obtain recovery of the documents and data from any storage device or online database or program on which it was saved. If we do not receive any data in your possession by that date, we will proceed with any legal action we find appropriate, including a lawsuit seeing financial damages, penalties and legal fees and costs, a temporary restraining order, preliminary injunction, and potential criminal action, among other things.

Ignore them at your peril.

Deal with it now, with or without an attorney to help you, OR deal with it later when they follow through on their threats and it costs you a lot more in attorney fees. Those are pretty specific and supported by 'facts' alleged.
