Legal Question in Employment Law in California

On the Job Harrassment & Injury by Co-Worker

harassed by fellow co-workers because i was loyal

to the past service manager. Other employees didn't like it. They have glued my tool box closed, thrown hot coffee in my face and injured my eye, let air out of my tires and many other things for the past three years. I now feel that I cannot go to work because things get worse and I am now suffering with stomach problems. Management has not taken any action to solve the problems.

Re: On the Job Harrassment & Injury by Co-Worker

The injury you received at work is covered by Worker's Compensation. Additionally, if you can proved that the co-worker intended to injure you, you may have a claim against that individual and your employer for battery.

Workplace violence should be discussed with management. If they take no action or refuse to investigate and correct the problem, you may have a claim for wrongful termination, if you leave that employment.
