Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Labor Strike

the union workers of my company may strike, in preparation my company has assigned management employees to fill the striking techs positions, given us training, and told us to expect to work 6 days, 7 am - 7pm. I am a salaried (exempt) mansger. Since I am working as a technician shouldn't I be paid OT? And, I was hired for position A, how can the company tell me I have to work at this job when I was hired for a different position

Re: Labor Strike

You should be paid appropriate OT in the 'new' non-management position. If not so paid, you and others in the same situation could file a claim for the pay, interest and penalties. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so.
