Merger

If a firm merges with another, what rights do the employees have (old managers)? Can the newly created firm release emplyees without cause?

Can the new firm advertise for managers at the same time they are cutting current employee?

What is the law covering tremination compentation?

Unless you have a written contract saying otherwise an employee can be fired at any time without cause. No payment of any kind to the employee is required except for unpaid wages for hours worked.
