the promise of health care benifits

if your boss tells you that next month hes going to get you health benifits and later decides that he would rather just give you a $1.50 more an hour that I could use that to seek my coverage on my own, and that my hours vary is this legal since he knows that there is no way this will pay for health coverage for me.

Re: the promise of health care benifits

Employers are not legally required to provide health insurance. Even if it were provided, it could be canceled upon notice.
