Legal Question in Social Security Law in Colorado
Will she still qualify for her widows benefits
I currently have my roommate on my health insurance benefits at work and she is wondering if this will affect her receving her widows ssi benefits. We are both females and the health benefits are listed under same sex partners health insurance.

Being on your health insurance as a "same sex partner" should not affect her ability to collect widow's benefits from Social Security.
