Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Can my ex husband have an overnight guest sleep in the same room with my 10 year old daughter considering the guest is a registered sex offender charged with statute 53a-71 and several other criminal convictions for assault ,strangulation,threatening etc.?????
