Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
Hi i got into and accident and the guy that hit me's insurance inst settling for more than 14,000. I have a disk buldge and my bills equal more than 11,000. NOt to mention as a result of said accident i became behind in my college work and have lasting pain. Do you think settling for 14,000 is a good idea?

It is better to pay a lawyer who specializes in personal injjury work for one hour of his or her time than to screw up your case. So out of the $14,000 you spend $300-$500. Do not be penny wise and pound foolish. If the lawyer decides to handle the case, he or she probably will not charge you for the conference. Sometimes I will, for example, only charge a percentage of what I can get over and above the offer on the table. I am sure other lawyers do the same.
