Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I live in Georgia and am going through a divorce. My attorney is merging with the opposing attorney. My attorney has advised that he will no longer be able to represent me because of the conflict of interest. Can the opposing attorney legally keep my husband as a client?

Thanks!
