Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

substance abuse and chilren

I have a substance abuse problem. I am enrolled in an outpatient treatment program and I have given temporary guardianship of my children to my mother. How can I get my children back? Can I get them back while I am going through treatment? I have never abused or left them alone and they are the most important thing in my life. I want unsupervised visits with my children, and I want them back, that is the ultimately goal. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

The probate court can always adjust guardianship. Consult with a local attorney.
