Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

Can my employer terminate me for walking out of my job because of her constant and very derogatory remarks in front of clients? She was discussing some legal issues I have that are quite private with her clients. I was very upset and went out to clam down - I never said I wasn't coming back. Thanks

Yes, your employer can terminate you for walking out of your job. Unfortunately, there's nothing illegal about being a jerk or derogatory. There's also nothing illegal about quitting. Best of luck.
