Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

reinstatement

my job fired me, stating that i faid to follow work presedures. after going through my union steps, i was awarded my job back by the arbitrator, and that i should be made whole in pay and job. my job wants me to give them my ernings after they fired me so they can give me the diffrence. i think this is wrong, and that they sould give me all of what they owe me without me sending them my ernings. what legal way could they do this if any. i need to know , do i have to do what they ask,or do i have any legal way to fight this.

Re: reinstatement

It sounds like they are almost certainly defying the arbitrator's order to make you whole. This is a matter that is controlled by your collective bargaining agreement and you should take it up with the union steward. Your union should intervene on your behalf.
