defense cost

I don;t have homeowners, I had apartment insurance it has expired. a mom might sue me for my son bitting her son at the mall, my son 4 her son 10 my son was defending himself. Will apt insurance pay for the defense cost

I am not sure why you think anyone here knows the terms of your insurance policy, which according to you is not even in force.

Why would you think an expired insurance policy would cover you? If you let your insurance lapse, you'll have to pay a lawyer yourself because of that poor decision on your part.
