Residence title in question
Our house is in both names,husband died without will, how do I get clear title to property so I can make will and save my children the difficulties of dealing with this?

No one here knows the status of the title now, the status of the husband's estate, whether you have a right to title in your name only, or any other key details. You've perhaps seen what happens without proper planning, so the obvious best choice is to see a lawyer - not a message board.

You may not have to do anything, depending on how the title is worded. Consult with a local attorney.
